Foodshed operates a multi-farm Farm Box program. This is similar to CSA programs that individual farms operate. As a food hub, we aggregate from a network of local, regenerative farmers. By becoming a subscriber and receiving regular diversified bags of fruits and vegetables, you support our network and reduce each farm’s individual risk. Every week your Farm Box will comprise produce from multiple farms!

We charge and place orders a week in advance for orders fulfilled the following week.
Thank you for your understanding!
For example: Your pick up is Saturday 6/22; We place our orders with farmers and charge you the previous week Monday-Wednesday 6/10-6/12. (This is why we require a 2 week notice for cancellations and subscription pauses.)
-
You decide whether it’s every week or every other week.
If you want a farm box every other week, we have an A and B schedule.

Unfortunately, we don’t have the capacity to offer customizable boxes. We are a small business with no full-time packer! If you have a dietary restriction, we allow subscribers to swap items during our Saturday loose produce market. Some members opt into a Saturday order pickup day in order to supplement with additional loose items.
-
All neighborhood pick up locations close at the end of the day due to lack of cold storage. We do not credit or reimburse for missed picked up farm boxes.
For pickup at our Food Hub location in City Heights, we can hold produce until Saturday.
